Holding On

Today’s report was … disappointing, if I’m completely honest. 😦

I have two cavitating embryos and one 8-cell. We are transferring all three. The two cavitating ones haven’t reached the blastocyst stage yet, obviously. But they are about one day away.

I don’t know how to feel. Right now I don’t want to care. Things were going so well …

  1. You have every reason to be hopeful I think! Two are past the morula stage already and well on their way to becoming blasts. So many women become pregnant transferring embryos with much less progression! Hang in there. I know the waiting is hard.

    • Well, as you might already know, they basically go through the progression: zygote, 4-8 cell embryo, morula and then blastocyst. Although it’s ideal to reach the blastocyst stage, many women do become pregnant just using morula staged embryos. It sounds like you are on your way to having blasts to transfer, which is great!

  2. Praying for you! And remember: God is so much bigger than we can ever wrap our minds around, so regardless of yesterday’s, today’s, or tomorrow’s reports, He is in control and working for your good!

  3. I totally understand why you’re upset- but try to think about your three little embies that are hanging on… Praying for you, my friend! XOXO

  4. I think you have a fighting chance that this is going to work. I am sorry about your disappointment in how your numbers dwindled but these 3 are the strong ones. And that’s what you want to implant and stay cozy for 9 months!
